Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in healthcare sales, business development, account management, or pharmacy services.
- Proven experience selling complex, consultative solutions to healthcare organizations.
- Experience selling into the non-acute healthcare market, such as physician practices, long-term care, or specialty pharmacies.
- Solid understanding of the non-acute pharmacy and medication management landscape.
- Demonstrated success generating new business and delivering revenue growth within the healthcare sector.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen to articulate ROI and negotiate sophisticated agreements.
- Exceptional executive presence with advanced communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Relevant bachelor's degree required; advanced degree desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to meet with clients and prospects.
- Proficiency with Salesforce for record keeping and pipeline management.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development and revenue growth across Rx non-acute spend management accounts, identifying market penetration opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in spend management, influencing internal teams to strengthen client value.
- Build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives and senior healthcare stakeholders.
- Identify and qualify prospects within large provider organizations, developing compelling value propositions.
- Own sales activity, regional executive relationships, and accountability for pipeline development and profitability.
- Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations, business cases, and executive-level proposals.
- Prospect into new and existing healthcare organizations and translate industry trends into actionable strategies.
- Lead and coordinate contracting and implementation activities to ensure smooth transitions.
- Collaborate across sales, account management, consulting, pharmacy, and operations to close complex opportunities.
