Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in sales, business development, consulting, or category management.
- Deep knowledge of the non-acute healthcare market (e.g., physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care).
- Proven track record of generating new business, negotiating, and closing complex client opportunities.
- Established relationships with healthcare executives and C-suite leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and sell at the executive level.
- Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies, territory plans, and sales pipelines.
- Strong commercial acumen in developing business cases, value propositions, and financial ROI models.
- Leadership experience with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel regularly to support client needs and business priorities.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree is desirable.
- Familiarity with clinical/operational functions (e.g., perioperative, nursing, pharmacy) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and revenue growth across non-acute spend management accounts.
- Serve as a spend management subject matter expert for internal and cross-functional teams.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite and senior healthcare executives.
- Identify and qualify prospects, developing tailored value propositions for complex provider organizations.
- Own regional sales activity, including pipeline management, territory planning, and account strategy execution.
- Deliver persuasive business cases and presentations to senior leaders to demonstrate ROI.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align commercial, operational, and clinical resources for client success.
- Coordinate contracting and implementation activities to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery.
