Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Strong proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Cloud platform expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure, including architecture, IAM, and cost optimization.
- Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or Sumo Logic.
- Proven track record improving reliability metrics like MTTD, MTTR, and uptime.
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Ability to leverage AI tools for development and triage while maintaining critical evaluation standards.
- Experience driving cross-functional technical initiatives and organizational adoption.
Responsibilities
- Drive DevOps transformation by leading CI/CD pipeline design, container orchestration strategy, and infrastructure reliability.
- Champion a security-first culture by architecting secure infrastructure using secrets management, IAM least-privilege, and automated compliance.
- Apply AI tooling with rigor to accelerate platform development while ensuring critical evaluation of AI-generated output.
- Own platform reliability by setting SLOs/SLAs, leading incident response, and reducing MTTD/MTTR.
- Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform or Pulumi to scale organizational standards and reduce technical debt.
- Define and drive platform architectural direction across multiple domains and cross-functional teams.
- Optimize cloud architecture for reliability and cost in partnership with product and engineering leadership.
- Mentor senior engineers through architectural guidance, code reviews, and documentation.
