Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in security software engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated technical leadership of security tooling programs.
- Expert Python engineering skills with experience delivering production systems at scale.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML security, specifically adversarial ML, prompt injection, and model security.
- Understanding of observability and reliability engineering.
- Experience designing security tooling architectures spanning multiple teams.
- Strong technical communication and ability to drive organizational standards.
- Track record of shipping high-quality, production-grade security tooling.
Responsibilities
- Define the architecture and technical strategy for Databricks' AI security tooling platform.
- Set engineering standards for design review, reliability, observability, and integration patterns.
- Lead the design and development of AI platform capabilities at production scale, including anomaly detection and threat identification.
- Define methodologies for systematically evaluating AI capabilities against threat models and continuous monitoring.
- Drive technical strategy for automated adversarial red-teaming platforms.
- Serve as the technical authority for Product Security, SITH, IR, and ConMon teams.
- Establish reusable security patterns for AI-connected systems across the organization.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers on AI security architecture and threat modeling.
