Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 4+ years of public relations and/or communications experience, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Significant experience in public relations and/or communications, ideally within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a related highly regulated industry.
- Outstanding writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced knowledge of social media strategy, social content development, and visual asset ideation.
- Experience using communications monitoring and analytics tools and translating performance data into meaningful insights and reports.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience managing public relations agencies, creative partners, vendors, or similar external relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, senior executives, corporate leaders, and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to company headquarters and key industry or organizational events.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of integrated communications strategies for the Obesity and Related Conditions organization, engaging internal and external audiences effectively.
- Manage multiple communications initiatives simultaneously, including project plans, timelines, deliverables, stakeholder coordination, and material review processes.
- Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, including town halls, onsite events, executive communications, and leadership memos.
- Oversee the development of creative, digital, and multimedia content for internal, web, and social media channels.
- Lead the development and distribution of internal communications and thought leadership content.
- Collaborate with enterprise communications teams and agency partners on employee communications and external initiatives, including website and social media content.
- Develop metrics reporting for key internal and external communications programs, translating performance data into actionable insights.
- Monitor communications, digital, and social media trends to identify emerging opportunities and provide relevant recommendations.
