Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in microbiology, food science, or chemical engineering preferred.
- Proficiency in SQF, FSMA, and food safety and quality systems.
- HACCP and PCQI certification.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of product-specific standards, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Experience using electronic Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement company quality standards.
- Manage the network’s Quality Incident Program and CAPA processes.
- Conduct hazard analyses and develop quality assurance plans.
- Perform audits, analyze non-conformity, and identify preventative actions.
- Prepare metrics, performance analyses, and quality reports for management reviews.
- Provide technical expertise to cultivation and production facilities.
- Support the document management system and maintain compliance documentation.
- Engage with cross-functional leaders to review adverse events and customer complaints.
