Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sustainability, engineering, economics, finance, business, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of demonstrated regional sales and business development leadership experience.
- Proven track record of cultivating and securing multimillion-dollar energy efficiency or renewable energy projects.
- Demonstrated success engaging executive and C-level decision-makers and managing complex sales contracts.
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and organizational resource management capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
- Knowledge of energy analysis software is desirable.
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency, renewable energy, performance contracting, and infrastructure solutions.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an experienced regional business development organization, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
- Establish and execute sales strategies for energy efficiency, renewable energy, performance contracting, and advanced technology solutions.
- Own regional sales performance, including bookings, proposals, pipeline development, and revenue objectives.
- Engage directly with key customers and executive decision-makers on high-value opportunities.
- Oversee the development of competitive proposals and review contract terms for commercial soundness.
- Partner with engineering, project management, and construction teams to ensure effective transition through project delivery.
- Monitor project and organizational performance to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
