Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in business development, capture, military training, acquisition, or the defense industry.
- Demonstrated success capturing large-scale DoD training, simulation, or emerging-technology opportunities.
- Expertise in DoD requirements, acquisition, budgeting, POM processes, and contracting (SBIR, OTA, IDIQ, FAR).
- Proven ability to transition defense technologies from prototypes into funded, scalable programs.
- Experience with modeling and simulation, LVC systems, synthetic training environments, or distributed mission training.
- Ability to brief senior military leaders, flag and general officers, and acquisition executives.
- Formal capture methodology experience such as Shipley.
- Proposal leadership experience across traditional and nontraditional acquisition processes.
- Technical fluency in AR, XR, simulation, and advanced training technologies.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive C2 business development strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Own the military training opportunity pipeline, including qualification, health, and probability-weighted forecasting.
- Shape customer requirements early in the acquisition lifecycle to align training needs with available capabilities.
- Manage the complete business development lifecycle from discovery to contract award and transition to execution.
- Establish trusted relationships with senior military leaders, acquisition offices, and industry primes.
- Build detailed customer maps and engagement strategies across operational, acquisition, and technical stakeholders.
- Develop partnership and ecosystem strategies including prime, subcontract, and teaming arrangements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align capture strategies and technology roadmaps.
