Requirements
- 6+ years of experience spanning investment banking, private equity, consulting, and high-growth startup finance.
- Demonstrated experience building or leading strategic finance functions at a startup.
- Highly analytical background with advanced financial modeling capabilities.
- Ability to operate as both a technical analyst and a strategic advisor to leadership.
- Proven success in influencing board narratives and planning cycles.
- Experience managing capital allocation decisions.
- Strong communication skills to build trust with cross-functional leaders.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to drive process improvements independently.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Controller to improve monthly budget-vs-actual analysis and build live department-level dashboards.
- Own the forecasting and business review cadence, including board reporting and variance analysis.
- Manage the GMV forecasting model, including cohort-based modeling and rate/volume decomposition.
- Identify emerging financial trends or risks proactively to support responsible growth.
- Improve and document core financial processes, such as ROI frameworks and variance reporting.
- Act as a strategic partner to cross-functional leaders to reduce cost to serve and optimize unit economics.
- Implement and manage the company's strategic finance tech stack.
- Shape and pitch strategic initiatives and support corporate development efforts like M&A.
