Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience managing financial functions and organizational administration.
- Nonprofit sector experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with financial processes, grant budgets, grant accounting, and contracts.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, administration, accounting, and compliance.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex finance and administrative functions from planning to execution.
- Strong organizational, project, and task-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and cloud-based administrative and financial tools.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Monday.com, or comparable management systems is a plus.
- Must be based in the United States and available during standard continental U.S. business hours.
Responsibilities
- Oversee organizational administration, including HR/payroll vendor relationships, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance.
- Manage administrative systems, IT-related tools, contractor/vendor relationships, and logistics for meetings and retreats.
- Lead grant administration for both incoming and outgoing funds, including pre- and post-award processes and reporting.
- Manage contracts with consultants and partners to ensure accurate documentation and monitoring.
- Oversee external bookkeeping services, financial controls, and accurate organizational recordkeeping.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide monthly/quarterly financial reporting to leadership and the Board.
- Monitor expenditures against grant budgets and oversee expense allocations and reporting.
- Develop and refine organizational policies, workflows, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
