Requirements
- MBA, MA, or MS in human resources, organizational development, organizational psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of HR and/or people-leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years of executive-level experience in an organization of at least 100 full-time employees.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading enterprise JEDI strategy, anti-racism work, and culture change with measurable results.
- Experience managing within a unionized environment.
- Experience building equity-centered accountability systems and translating JEDI commitments into practical organizational policy.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Strong conflict-resolution, consensus-building, and change-management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organization’s people function and enterprise justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) strategies.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and employment laws.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the President & CEO and member of the Executive Team.
- Champion a unified, anti-racist, and inclusive workplace culture that reflects organizational values.
- Build equity-centered accountability systems and integrate JEDI principles into policies and leadership behaviors.
- Manage organizational change and facilitate complex conversations with senior leadership.
