Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience building and shipping software, with experience delivering production-quality products.
- Experience working closely with product and design stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to work across the stack and take ownership of projects both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and modern software development practices.
- Experience working with multiple programming languages and the ability to learn new technologies effectively.
- Strong product mindset and ability to connect technical decisions with user needs and business outcomes.
- Excellent judgment and a pragmatic approach to solving ambiguous or complex problems.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative, particularly in fast-growing environments where responsibilities can evolve.
- Experience working at a small or high-growth technology company is an advantage.
- Familiarity with modern software build and deployment tooling is a plus.
- Experience building products for growth-oriented organizations or modern enterprise users is desirable.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Terraform, or Temporal is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Build new products and user-facing capabilities that help larger teams and organizations manage applications as their needs grow.
- Take end-to-end ownership of full-stack projects, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution through implementation and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
- Contribute to team planning, roadmapping, goal-setting, and prioritization while helping define the direction of new product areas.
- Improve and mature the codebase, architecture, and engineering practices as the platform scales in users, functionality, and complexity.
- Make pragmatic technical and product decisions while balancing user experience, maintainability, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Work across the technology stack, contributing to backend, frontend, APIs, databases, and other components as needed.
- Help shape engineering culture, processes, and best practices as the organization continues to grow.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and contribute to maintaining reliable production systems.
- Stay curious about new technologies, tools, and approaches that can improve the developer experience and product capabilities.
