Requirements
- At least ten years of total professional experience.
- Hands-on experience writing production-level code in Python (preferred), Java, C++, or Go.
- Expertise in a cloud platform, preferably AWS (or GCP/Azure).
- Expertise in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Django or a similar web framework.
- At least two years of experience building data processing pipelines.
- Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional architectural projects and rollouts.
- Experience writing highly available and low latency services for production environments.
- Strong focus on clean, scalable, and maintainable code architecture.
- Ability to diagnose root causes in complex technical issues.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering teams to elevate system designs.
Responsibilities
- Build best-in-class applications and services.
- Share in the ownership of the technical direction and impact of the platform.
- Work with the team to align on product roadmaps, specifications, and priorities.
- Ensure users are presented with timely and accurate information.
- Evolve the architecture to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Contribute to engineering culture and ensure clear, concise production code.
- Provide effective and constructive feedback by reviewing others’ work.
- Set consistent standards via code and design reviews.
- Expand and improve the EHR data pipeline.
- Create and expand features in the Stellar Health application.
