Requirements

  • Significant progressive HR experience, including substantial experience in a senior HR Business Partner or comparable strategic HR role within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Sales, Commercial, field-based, customer-facing, or revenue-generating organizations.
  • Proven experience advising executive-level and senior leadership stakeholders, with the ability to influence and constructively challenge leaders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand business drivers, translate priorities into people strategies, and connect HR initiatives to measurable outcomes.
  • Experience operating successfully within complex, matrixed organizations involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Strong expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership effectiveness, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Experience leading or supporting organizational change, including restructuring, change communications, stakeholder alignment, and adoption planning.
  • Strong judgment in employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, investigations, policy interpretation, and risk-aware decision-making.
  • Excellent consulting, coaching, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including interpreting workforce data.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable with hands-on execution as a senior individual contributor.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior Commercial leaders and the VP of HR for Sales to align people strategies with business priorities, growth plans, and workforce requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive and senior leaders on talent strategy, organization design, leadership effectiveness, workforce planning, and organizational capability.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies supporting Sales and distributed, customer-facing Commercial teams across the US and Canada.
  • Lead and support talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential identification using workforce data and organizational insights.
  • Advise leaders through organizational changes, including restructurings, operating model changes, productivity initiatives, team effectiveness programs, and change adoption.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, investigations, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns while supporting consistent and compliant employment practices.
  • Analyze workforce metrics, talent data, and organizational trends to assess organizational health and recommend practical actions.
  • Coach leaders on communication, inclusive leadership, employee engagement, accountability, and team performance.
