Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close.
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online, Project Accounting, and U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
- Strong experience with account reconciliations and month-end close.
- Prior experience managing corporate credit card programs, purchase requisitions, and expense classification.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Finance in the monthly close process including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly budget-to-actual reports with variance analyses and management commentary.
- Administer the company’s corporate card program and review, code, and classify transactions.
- Manage and fulfill finance-related purchase requests in Jira.
- Review payroll entries and support maintenance of payroll tax accounts.
- Maintain documentation for Form 1099 filings and support audit readiness.
- Support project-level accounting and expense allocation.
- Develop and maintain internal SOPs and accounting workflows.
