Requirements
- 8+ years leading customer-facing training, education, or certification programs at a B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure company.
- Proven track record owning a P&L or budget for a training/education function, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Experience designing certification and partner accreditation programs that gate independent delivery on demonstrated competency.
- Comfort operating at both strategic executive levels and tactical levels regarding certification mechanics and lab environments.
- People leadership experience, including hiring and developing instructional designers, trainers, and lab engineers.
- Fluency in measuring training outcomes such as certification pass rates, support deflection, and product adoption.
Responsibilities
- Own the training and education strategy end-to-end, spanning pre-engagement onboarding, admin fundamentals, hands-on labs, certification, and partner accreditation.
- Define and defend the program's ROI model, reporting outcomes like onboarding readiness, support-ticket reduction, and partner quality to executive stakeholders.
- Direct the design of self-service learning paths, instructor-led training, and hands-on lab curricula for customer admins, operators, and partner engineers.
- Build a role-based certification program with defensible, proctored exams and a pathway for partner accreditation.
- Hire, lead, and grow a team of instructional designers, trainers, lab engineers, and certification specialists.
- Manage the technology stack, including LMS, content authoring, lab platforms, and exam delivery systems.
