Requirements
- 8+ years of experience deploying complex ML/AI solutions in mission-critical production environments.
- Proven track record of technical leadership.
- Mastery of Python, RESTful API design, Protobuf, and microservices architecture.
- Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and real-time inference services.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying RAG pipelines, fine-tuning LLMs, and building LLM evaluation/guardrail frameworks.
- Experience with relational databases, low-latency key-value stores, and distributed queueing systems (e.g., Celery, Kafka).
- Strong experience architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical ambiguity into strategic priorities and influence leadership.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute the long-term roadmap for machine learning and generative AI platforms.
- Architect end-to-end training, fine-tuning, and low-latency inference platforms, including RAG and vector databases.
- Establish organizational standards for the full ML/AI SDLC, from CI/CD to automated model evaluation.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, Security, and Clinical leaders to align technical roadmaps with strategic goals.
- Mentor senior engineers, lead architectural reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
- Contribute directly through high-leverage architectural designs, technical prototyping, and coding.
