Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership.
- Experience defining and delivering digital products or enterprise software solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments.
- Experience with healthcare IT modernization or legacy system migration initiatives.
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Familiarity with agile frameworks like SAFe or Scrum.
- Experience developing product roadmaps and managing product backlogs.
- Ability to translate mission needs into clear product requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear product vision for the legacy-to-REST migration aligned to VA mission.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap based on value, impact, and feasibility.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating requirements into epics and user stories.
- Partner with engineers, designers, and VA stakeholders to deliver migration capabilities.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Monitor product performance and gather stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement.
