Requirements
- 10–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance operations experience.
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing AP/P2P and AR/O2C functions.
- Experience in fast-growing D2C e-commerce, consumer hardware, retail distribution, or SaaS environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal control compliance.
- Proven track record of system implementations and process automation.
- Proficiency with NetSuite, Workday, or similar modern ERPs.
- Experience with billing engines like Stripe, Zuora, or Recurly.
- Experience with spend management tools such as Zip or Ramp.
- Familiarity with payroll systems like ADP or Workday Payroll.
- Understanding of multi-state payroll regulations and credit risk management.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct the global end-to-end transactional accounting functions, including AP Operations, Time & Expense, Payroll, and Order to Cash.
- Spearhead continuous optimization of P2P platforms like Coupa, Ramp, and NetSuite to enforce strict 3-way matching and automated workflows.
- Manage global payroll execution, statutory tax reporting, and cross-functional alignment with HR and equity leadership.
- Oversee complex billing and AR operations for multi-channel sales, including e-commerce, subscriptions, and enterprise contracts.
- Establish and maintain a robust SOX-ready internal control framework across all operational accounting pillars.
- Define and report executive KPIs such as AP cycle time, payroll accuracy, and DSO to senior finance leadership.
- Lead system implementations, integrations, and enterprise workflow redesigns across ERPs, billing engines, and payment gateways.
