Requirements

  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, hospital operations, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge gained through direct hospital or health informatics experience.
  • Deep experience with EHR clinical workflows (e.g., Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, athenahealth).
  • Proven track record of working with senior-level stakeholders (VP, CMO, CIO, department directors).
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations, including revenue cycle, patient flow, and clinical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and expertise with Excel.
  • Home office with Windows 11/macOS, stable internet (5Mbps+), headset, HD webcam, and 2nd monitor.
  • Able to work full time (40 hours/week) during PST business hours.
  • Ability to pass online behavior and cognitive assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and clinical operations leaders at hospital client sites.
  • Analyze current-state clinical workflows to identify inefficiencies, risks, and gaps, and design optimized future-state workflows.
  • Collaborate with EHR analysts and technical teams to support system configurations within platforms like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for laboratory (LIS) and radiology (RIS/PACS) information systems and their EHR integration.
  • Diagnose root causes of operational issues such as throughput bottlenecks and reporting gaps.
  • Act as a liaison between clinical stakeholders, IT engineering, and third-party vendors to ensure project alignment.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables including workflow diagrams, business cases, and project roadmaps.
  • Support change management through training material development and user adoption facilitation.
