Job Details

2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably within the food industry
Experience sourcing food ingredients, raw materials, or specialty food components
Strong online research and supplier sourcing skills
Excellent negotiation and vendor communication abilities
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (CEFR C1 or equivalent)
Understanding of food ingredient specifications, technical data sheets, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
Familiarity with FDA-regulated food products and food safety documentation

Source food ingredients, raw materials, and specialty components for product development and commercial production
Research and identify ingredient manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers worldwide
Obtain pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQs), ingredient specifications, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and technical documentation
Coordinate ingredient sample requests for R&D and product testing
Compare suppliers based on quality, certifications, pricing, and availability
Assist with ingredient substitutions and alternative sourcing solutions
Maintain supplier databases and sourcing records
Support procurement of packaging materials and related product components
Build and maintain relationships with ingredient manufacturers, distributors, and brokers
