Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturer relations, GPO contracting, market access, or strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record in reviewing, negotiating, or supporting pharmaceutical agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to establish trusted relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Experience using data, business reviews, and performance metrics for decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare markets, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and specialty pharmacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, pharmacy, supply chain, or finance preferred.
- Capability to work effectively in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships as the primary point of contact.
- Lead business reviews, performance discussions, and strategic planning sessions.
- Review, negotiate, and execute manufacturer agreements, renewals, and amendments.
- Monitor contract performance, compliance, and utilization trends to identify growth potential.
- Develop manufacturer-specific strategies to increase product participation and market performance.
- Analyze sales data, utilization metrics, and market insights to provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams including contracting, finance, analytics, and leadership.
- Represent the organization in executive meetings and industry events.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on manufacturer portfolios and therapeutic areas.
