Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of direct legal intake experience.
- Personal injury experience strongly preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Strong active listening and communication skills.
- Analytical ability to assess liability, damages, and source of recovery.
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn case management software.
- Inbound sales experience is a plus.
- Available Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 MT, with rotating holiday coverage.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial contact with potential clients with empathy and understanding.
- Determine case viability and achieve a 95% or better case retention rate.
- Place potential clients with referral partners if cases cannot be handled in-house.
- Answer calls and emails, scheduling attorney intake or using case management tools.
- Document files, perform conflict checks, and enter party/witness information into SmartAdvocate.
- Research potential cases and track referrals to associate attorneys.
- Draft and send decline letters within 5 days of the decision.
- Attend weekly and daily team huddles.
