Job Details

3+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, land acquisition, right-of-way, real estate, agriculture, or another relationship-driven field role.
Proven ability to build trust quickly, generate opportunities, and move conversations toward action.
Strong communication and people skills, with the judgment and presence to engage credibly with landowners and local stakeholders.
Comfort conducting negotiations and advancing deals within defined commercial and legal guardrails.
Highly self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, while engaging internal stakeholders effectively.
Strong follow-up habits and comfort managing multiple active opportunities at once.
Comfortable and effective using CRM systems, mobile tools, and other technology to stay organized.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel within assigned markets.

Conduct proactive outreach to landowners primarily through cold calls and email marketing, with some in-person visits, referrals, local events, and other relationship-driven channels.
Build trust with landowners to advance prospects from initial contact through active pursuit and toward executed site control.
Conduct ordinary-course negotiations with landowners on leases, easements, options, and related site-control arrangements.
Gather and communicate key site and landowner information to assess opportunity quality.
Maintain accurate and timely records in the company's CRM regarding outreach activity, notes, and status.
Collaborate with internal teams, including development and interconnection, to assess property quality.
Travel extensively within assigned regions, with travel expected to represent up to 25% of the month.
