Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or customer-facing roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in CPG retailer operations and related activities.
  • 4-year Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Deep understanding of the retailer, manufacturer, and distributor relationship model.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, utilizing a consultative approach.
  • Proven ability to interact with a broad range of clients from field employees to senior executives.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret metrics and translate into action plans.
  • Proficiency in productivity software like Google Workspace or MS Office.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PowerPoint and Access preferred).
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30% to 50% within the US.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and navigate retail environments as required.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of retailer divisions and vendor accounts as their trusted advisor.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and business check-ins to ensure goal alignment.
  • Drive platform adoption through training, support, and sharing best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including IT, Billing, and Product to resolve technical or process challenges.
  • Execute field operations tasks to improve distributor service levels across store, district, and division levels.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to develop plans for projects and service improvements.
  • Track and document all client communications and feedback.
