Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit development, grants management, or related fields.
- Experience in development operations is strongly desired.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Experience or exposure to CRMs, fundraising databases, and reporting tools.
- Experience conducting donor research and prospect pipeline development.
- Experience with grant administration.
- Active learning mindset regarding AI tools for efficiency and problem-solving.
- Personal or professional experience with the child welfare system or a deep commitment to learning about it.
- Ability to independently manage complex workflows within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional coordination with program, finance, and Executive teams to ensure the timely execution of donor deliverables like proposals and grant reports.
- Manage development team scheduling, deliverables calendar, and operational workflows.
- Prepare donor and prospect briefings, track action items, and ensure follow-through.
- Maintain and improve systems for document management, donor communications, and grant deliverables.
- Oversee CRM data accuracy, produce dashboards, and synthesize fundraising data for leadership insights.
- Manage background research on potential donors and prepare donor profiles and meeting briefs.
- Support grant lifecycle management including tracking deadlines, deliverables, and payment schedules.
