Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in health administration, business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in pharmacy, managed care, or pharmacy benefit management (PBM).
- Deep market and operational knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Health Exchange business lines.
- Proven ability to manage and influence complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills and analytical ability, specifically for P&L and data set management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting to diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client engagements.
- Experience working with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) rules is highly preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or B.S. in Pharmacy is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead client relationship strategy and business planning to foster partnerships with key decision makers.
- Manage the account renewal and contracting process, including P&L oversight and performance guarantee tracking.
- Direct cross-functional account teams to ensure service delivery, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze pharmacy healthcare trends and industry regulations to inform strategic client recommendations.
- Partner with sales, underwriting, and leadership to support RFP processes, broker engagement, and business development.
- Collaborate internally to customize solutions and resolve complex service challenges for Health Plan and TPA clients.
- Serve as the primary content expert and client advocate within the organization.
