Requirements
- Degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in overhead transmission line (OHTL/OHL) projects.
- Expertise in transmission line routing, structural load analysis, and tower spotting optimization.
- Understanding of tower behavior, including wind, weight, temperature, and ice load cases.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and geotechnical inputs.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for client workshops, demos, and deployments.
Responsibilities
- Build and iterate transmission line designs by ingesting client constraints, spotting structures, and evaluating options against cost, loads, and clearance metrics.
- Translate transmission designs, including tower libraries, structure lists, and foundation drawings, into project models.
- Map structural concepts such as wind/weight span, line angles, and load cases into digital representation.
- Assist clients in comparing current PLS-CADD/PLS-TOWER workflows with Neara outputs and propose migration paths.
- Engage with clients during pre-sales demos and deployment sessions to explain technical trade-offs.
- Contribute to core India delivery tasks including model build, QA, and GIS/LiDAR work.
