Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working in higher education or libraries, either at an academic institution or vendor.
  • Demonstrated expertise in special collections, archives, or digital collections.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% for library visits, conferences, and office meetings.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to identify tasks and independently take initiative.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
  • Experience demonstrating tools and services via webinar and in-person workshops.
  • Comfortable working with data to extract learnings and make evidence-based decisions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a CRM such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with practitioners, influencers, and leaders at assigned participating accounts to increase adoption and ensure positive experience.
  • Lead the onboarding experience, including delivering kickoff meetings and custom training sessions for new institutions.
  • Support successful trials of JSTOR Stewardship offerings by leading trial kickoff calls and checking in with institutions.
  • Develop and maintain engagement within the archival and special collections community to stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally to inform product, marketing, and leadership partners.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for each account, ensuring accurate contact and account documentation.
