Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience managing enterprise applications and leading complex technology initiatives.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise software implementations, upgrades, integrations, and modernization efforts.
- Experience managing and developing technical teams, including coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, systems integration, data workflows, and platform governance.
- Hands-on expertise with legal technology platforms such as NetDocuments, Aderant, or comparable systems.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data architecture, data modeling, and data governance principles.
- Experience with cloud technologies, SaaS solutions, and modern enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and an understanding of cybersecurity and application security best practices.
- Experience supporting a law firm or professional services organization strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of enterprise applications professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, including evaluation, selection, implementation, configuration, optimization, support, upgrades, and retirement.
- Direct the administration, enhancement, and strategic development of the firm's document management system, including workflow design, integrations, governance, and user adoption initiatives.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing evolution of the firm's data warehouse and data architecture environment to support reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
- Partner with the CIO to develop and execute a multi-year enterprise applications strategy and technology roadmap aligned with firm objectives and future growth.
- Drive modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption, platform optimization, application rationalization, and technical debt reduction.
- Collaborate with attorneys, administrative leaders, and business teams to identify technology opportunities and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, service delivery, and user experience.
- Ensure enterprise applications meet security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements while supporting business continuity objectives.
