Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA license.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2+ years specifically in Technical Revenue.
- Deep, practical ASC 606 expertise, including multi-element, consumption-based, and hybrid arrangements.
- Proven ability to research and author technical accounting position papers that withstand audit scrutiny.
- Experience with revenue controls and supporting external audits in a SOX environment.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and explain accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders.
- Interest in applying AI and automation to finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Sales, Legal, and Deal Desk to assess revenue recognition positioning for new products under ASC 606.
- Author and document revenue accounting policies and technical position papers for new offerings.
- Research and write technical revenue position papers for complex transactions and acquisitions.
- Evaluate consumption-based billing and multi-element packaging terms for accounting treatment and performance obligations.
- Lead initiatives to scale revenue processes through system and policy recommendations.
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors and manage SOX control documentation.
- Support month-end and quarterly close execution, revenue reporting, and flux analysis.
