Requirements
- 4–6+ years of product design experience or equivalent.
- Experience shipping meaningful product work.
- Experience designing complex, workflow-heavy products, specifically in fintech, healthcare, HR, payments, insurance, or benefits.
- Strong interaction design and systems thinking capabilities.
- Ability to design flows that handle nuance, permissions, states, and exceptions.
- Experience working with ambiguity and participating in problem definition.
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Excellent craft and attention to detail in UI, content, and interaction patterns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for product features and workflows from discovery to shipped outcomes.
- Design experiences that manage operational complexity, regulatory nuance, and edge cases.
- Create cohesive experiences across multiple user personas and levels of expertise.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to clarify problems, define scope, and iterate on solutions.
- Conduct discovery research such as interviews, workflow mapping, and prototype tests.
- Evolve design patterns and systems to ensure quality, consistency, and speed.
- Communicate design rationale, tradeoffs, and decisions to the cross-functional team.
