Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle experience.
- 4+ years of leadership experience managing revenue cycle teams.
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
- Knowledge of value-based reimbursement models.
- Experience managing denials, collections, payer relationships, and revenue integrity.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret operational and financial metrics.
- Experience working with healthcare billing systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and GAAP financial reporting preferred.
- Certifications such as HFMA CRCR or CHFP preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all revenue cycle functions including billing, coding, collections, and revenue integrity.
- Develop and execute initiatives to improve revenue cycle performance, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor performance through dashboards and analytics to identify opportunities for reducing revenue leakage.
- Ensure billing and collection activities comply with federal, state, HIPAA, and GAAP requirements.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and third-party vendors to optimize automation and system functionality.
- Supervise the Revenue Cycle Manager and support talent development across the RCM team.
- Present strategic initiatives and operational metrics to executive management.
