- Minimum four years of related professional experience
- Strong knowledge of core PHP, MVC frameworks, and Yii
- Strong knowledge of WordPress
- Proficiency in JQuery, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Experience writing backend components and RESTful APIs
- Understanding of security standards and compliances
- Experience with relational and schemaless databases such as MySQL
- Ability to design database structures
- Experience writing unit tests with a target of 90% coverage
- Proficiency with Github and JIRA
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks
- Write and unit test server-side web application code
- Tune code for enhanced security and performance
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with clients
- Maintain systems by resolving issues and updating issue tracking software
- Lead a team of software engineers and provide mentorship
- Evaluate candidates for open positions
- Control code versions and research new technologies
