Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare or insurance setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an understanding of company business lines.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and typing.
- Must maintain an uninterrupted internet connection.
- Must supply and support own internet services.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular report status updates to the client.
- Evaluate physician reports against client and jurisdictional standards and ensure clinical rationale supports determinations.
- Coordinate clarification and addendum requests between clients and physicians.
- Review physician reports for data accuracy, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Ensure compliance with all client special handling instructions and state reporting requirements.
- Act as a liaison with the VP of Clinical Operations regarding quality issues and new reviewer reports.
- Provide final approval on cases for release to the client.
