Requirements
- Experience shipping real systems that people depend on
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous problems into working products
- Deep exploration or practical experience with agent systems, LLM pipelines, or automation beyond demos
- Understanding of system behavior in production including failure modes, tradeoffs, and reliability
- Strong backend or systems engineering experience, such as distributed systems or infrastructure
- Proficiency in at least one core language such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or Rust
- Experience with reliability patterns including state management, retries, and observability
- Comfort working across the technical stack as needed
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI
- Experience with workflow engines like Temporal, Airflow, or Dagster
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation, prompting, or performance tuning
Responsibilities
- Build agent runtimes and orchestration systems including planning, tool use, memory, and coordination
- Engineer reliability into agents through retries, failure handling, and state management
- Develop observability tools for tracing, debugging, and evaluation of agent performance
- Optimize agents for cost-effective execution and performance
- Deploy agents in real-world production environments
- Integrate LLMs, APIs, and external data into coherent, working systems
- Define developer workflows for building, debugging, and extending agent behavior
