Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Track record of delivering complex projects with both onshore and offshore developers.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with backend systems, ideally in Go.
- Experience in cloud-native environments.
- Experience building or integrating AI-powered features with knowledge of responsible AI practices.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted tools into the SDLC (e.g., DevOps, test automation, code review).
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and vision for your engineering squad, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define and prioritize the technical roadmap.
- Implement processes and tools to drive high-velocity and quality delivery across onshore and offshore teams.
- Drive successful delivery of software projects, including planning and resource allocation.
- Grow and foster adoption of SQA best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into business terms.
- Drive AI-powered feature development and adoption of AI tools to improve engineering efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks through data-driven decision-making.
