Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
- Advanced knowledge of building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and life safety systems.
- Strong understanding of National Electrical Code, Life Safety Codes, and Energy Conservation Codes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Technical calculation skills for equipment sizing, arc flash studies, and short circuit coordination.
- Proven leadership experience with ability to mentor and delegate.
- Strong project management skills to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
- Experience working successfully in remote environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to assigned electrical engineering teams.
- Develop engineers through structured coaching, regular feedback, career discussions, and technical reviews.
- Coordinate workload planning, resource allocation, staffing needs, and project priorities.
- Perform advanced electrical engineering activities, including power distribution design, equipment selection, and infrastructure layouts.
- Support project execution by reviewing drawings, responding to RFIs, and evaluating submittals.
- Manage project design teams by coordinating resources, monitoring schedules, and supporting cost control initiatives.
- Establish and reinforce standardized engineering workflows, design practices, and quality standards.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
