Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and life safety systems.
  • Strong understanding of National Electrical Code, Life Safety Codes, and Energy Conservation Codes.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Technical calculation skills for equipment sizing, arc flash studies, and short circuit coordination.
  • Proven leadership experience with ability to mentor and delegate.
  • Strong project management skills to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working successfully in remote environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to assigned electrical engineering teams.
  • Develop engineers through structured coaching, regular feedback, career discussions, and technical reviews.
  • Coordinate workload planning, resource allocation, staffing needs, and project priorities.
  • Perform advanced electrical engineering activities, including power distribution design, equipment selection, and infrastructure layouts.
  • Support project execution by reviewing drawings, responding to RFIs, and evaluating submittals.
  • Manage project design teams by coordinating resources, monitoring schedules, and supporting cost control initiatives.
  • Establish and reinforce standardized engineering workflows, design practices, and quality standards.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
