Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in business development, consulting sales, or commercial roles focused on value and evidence services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets, including experience managing multi-million-dollar sales opportunities.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical market access, pricing, evidence generation, and value strategy functions.
- Strong relationships and experience engaging senior pharma stakeholders responsible for selecting advisory and consulting partners.
- Demonstrated success selling complex, high-value solutions through consultative and strategic sales approaches.
- Ability to operate effectively in matrixed environments involving scientific, operational, commercial, and technical teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate complex industry challenges into compelling business solutions.
- Experience managing enterprise sales pipelines, forecasting, and commercial performance metrics.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development activities by positioning value, access, pricing, and evidence solutions for pharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach.
- Expand existing client relationships by identifying opportunities linked to new products, indications, business units, and strategic initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across market access, value, evidence, pricing, and related functions.
- Partner with internal scientific, strategy, creative, innovation, and delivery teams to develop differentiated client solutions and proposals.
- Act as a commercial subject matter expert, clearly communicating solution value and business impact during client engagements.
- Execute go-to-market strategies across offerings including pricing strategy, market access analytics, payer engagement, forecasting, contracting strategy, and launch readiness.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and CRM data quality.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and solution scoping to support profitable and sustainable engagements.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, client meetings, and external events as a senior commercial ambassador.
