Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working with vulnerable communities.
- Proficiency in English; additional language fluency is a plus.
- Strong active listening and investigative interview skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
- Technological literacy, including ability to use smartphone, tablet, or computer for data entry.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated commitment to the values and mission of GiveDirectly.
- Ability to travel ~1-2 times per year for retreats or field visits.
- High standards of integrity, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys with recipients via call center technology to identify difficulties related to cash transfer programs.
- Utilize Salesforce, Aidkit, and other internal software to track incidents and manage case notes.
- Report discovered cases and analyze survey data to identify adverse event trends.
- Collect and respond to recipient complaints within established protocols.
- Produce weekly reports on cases, observations, and outcomes.
- Support field operations, risk assessment, and community engagement activities.
- Investigate flagged online imposters and scammers using social media.
