Requirements
- Previous experience in utility billing, embedded networks, smart metering, energy management, billing administration, or a similar support role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate billing, metering, and data-related issues.
- High attention to detail when reviewing meter data, billing reports, client records, and exception reports.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and billing validation.
- Experience using billing systems, metering platforms, CRM systems, or other business applications.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage recurring reporting tasks and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work accurately with detailed data and follow structured processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor smart metering data by reviewing exception reports and investigating missing or substituted data issues.
- Configure and maintain smart meter installations, replacements, and connection records within the billing platform.
- Perform billing cycle reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accurate and compliant billing.
- Generate and analyse billing, settlement, usage, and exception reports to identify discrepancies and trends.
- Investigate and resolve billing anomalies, escalating complex issues when required.
- Maintain accurate embedded network client records and support new smart meter data connections.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of billing, reporting, and system administration processes.
