Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or extensive expertise in Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of OneLake, Lakehouse architectures, Delta Lake, Parquet, and medallion design.
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric security, governance, and identity management.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, T-SQL, or KQL.
- Experience with platform performance optimization and cost governance.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Microsoft certifications such as DP-600, DP-203, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end Microsoft Fabric architecture including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory.
- Develop scalable DevOps practices using CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Establish governance, security, and compliance standards via Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Optimize platform performance through capacity planning, cost management, and workload monitoring.
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy platforms to Microsoft Fabric.
- Mentor technical teams and standardize development practices across data engineering projects.
