Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support, networking, systems connectivity, hardware, software, or a related technical support role.
- Knowledge of network installations, system upgrades, troubleshooting methodologies, and technical problem resolution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, internet-based tools, and common business software applications.
- Ability to analyze technical procedures, diagnose issues, and provide effective customer-focused solutions.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning in a technology-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support by diagnosing and resolving issues related to networks, connectivity, hardware, software, and business applications.
- Gather and analyze customer information to identify root causes and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Communicate with customers to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and ensure timely resolution of support requests.
- Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues through established support processes when appropriate.
- Assist customers with software installations, driver configuration, workstation setup, and system upgrades.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations to provide onsite technical support when required.
- Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies through training, research, webinars, and professional development.
- Complete required documentation, reports, and company training accurately and on time.
