Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, pharmaceutical services, managed care, or clinical support.
- Strong understanding of health insurance benefits (Medicare Part D, commercial, Medicaid, prior authorizations, appeals).
- Knowledge of specialty pharmacy channels, hub services, and patient assistance programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and reporting platforms such as Tableau.
- Experience using patient access CRM systems such as Salesforce or Veeva.
- Strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare providers and office staff to provide guidance on product coverage and reimbursement requirements.
- Support the complete reimbursement journey, including patient enrollment, prior authorization, appeals, and financial assistance.
- Educate healthcare providers and staff on patient assistance programs and access pathways.
- Serve as a payer and pharmacy resource for assigned territories, communicating access updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor payer requirements and market access trends to identify opportunities affecting patient access.
- Partner with internal and external teams to support patient access strategies.
- Maintain documentation in CRM and reporting systems following compliance requirements.
