- Familiarity with financial data models, including real-time, depth-of-book, and historical datasets.
- Proficiency with API product development (REST, WebSocket/SSE).
- Ability to analyze commercial viability and pricing models for data products.
- Strong negotiation skills for working with data vendors and global venues.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate exchange licensing, redistribution rights, and entitlements.
- Assess build-vs-buy decisions for data infrastructure and collection.
- Develop pricing and packaging models for data products.
- Define competitive positioning for the market data product line.
- Own the developer experience for market data APIs including REST, WebSocket/SSE, and historical endpoints.
- Lead partner discovery to understand data requirements for brokers, RIAs, and hedge funds.
