Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant legal experience.
- AU qualified solicitor or barrister.
- Experience in-house, ideally at a B2B SaaS scale-up.
- Demonstrable experience working across multiple legal jurisdictions (e.g., UK, Australia, US).
- Ability to build a modern, tech-enabled legal function using CLM and workflow automation tools.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.
- Strategic mindset to enable business growth and mitigate risks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead global customer and supplier contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
- Act as subject matter expert for IT/technology contracting, licensing, and procurement.
- Manage group entity governance, formation, compliance, IP strategy, and insurance.
- Draft employment contracts and provide advice on HR compliance and policies across jurisdictions.
- Administer the employee share option plan (ESOP) and Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) scheme.
- Ensure global data protection and privacy compliance and advise on AI regulatory developments.
