Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in GIS engineering, analysis, or network inventory.
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts, technologies, and tools.
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and open-source GIS tools.
- Experience with spatial analysis, network analysis, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with OSP network inventory systems (3GIS, GE Smallworld, OSPI).
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium network GIS inventory projects, including data conversion, data migration, and data cleansing.
- Perform network inventory data mapping, design, and feature development.
- Conduct network inventory defect identification, system testing, and script testing.
- Execute network inventory process analysis and development.
- Create, modify, research, and maintain various types of geospatial data such as polygons, KMZ, and SHP files.
- Perform network inventory administration including user maintenance and training documentation.
- Conduct geospatial analysis and generate map files.
