Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in GIS engineering, analysis, or network inventory.
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts, technologies, and tools.
- Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS.
- Experience with spatial analysis, network analysis, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with OSP network inventory systems such as 3GIS, GE Smallworld, or OSPI.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium network GIS inventory projects such as data conversion, migration, and cleansing.
- Develop network inventory features and identify defects.
- Perform geospatial analysis and create, modify, and maintain geospatial data (polygons, KMZ, SHP).
- Conduct network inventory system and script testing.
- Provide general support and training for peer organizations' use of GIS network inventory.
- Perform basic network inventory data corrections, analysis, and redlining.
- Complete ticket closures for network inventory-related tickets (TIER 1).
- Track project progress, resolve issues, and adjust project plans as needed.
