Requirements
- Proven experience working with Kubernetes in production environments (ideally EKS on AWS).
- Strong experience with CI/CD systems and automation-first workflows.
- Experience in a platform or infrastructure role providing both tooling and guidance to product teams.
- Ability to own systems while collaborating closely with other teams.
- Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure (preferred).
- Experience with observability tooling such as Datadog or Papertrail (preferred).
- Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost and performance (preferred).
- Experience with security best practices in cloud-native environments (preferred).
- Experience with cloud migrations (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, and usability.
- Shape how Kubernetes is operated on AWS, improving cluster architecture, deployment patterns, and operational practices.
- Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows to enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
- Manage a self-service infrastructure to allow product teams to operate independently without creating bottlenecks.
- Work cross-functionally with product engineers to understand needs and enable them through tooling, automation, and best practices.
