Requirements
- Completed at least three years of accredited college/university level coursework pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, environmental studies, communications, urban studies, transportation planning, sustainability, business development, or related fields.
- Foundational knowledge of environmental, clean energy, and transportation policy.
- Self-driven and passionate about policy, environmental science, and decarbonization strategies.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and accessibly.
- Experienced in research and report writing, including summarizing findings.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and task management abilities.
- Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on clean transportation topics including ZEV policies, battery technology, utility practices, infrastructure planning, and federal funding.
- Prepare presentations, meeting notes, and internal/external meeting materials.
- Draft policy analysis for reports, issue briefs, proposals, case studies, fact sheets, and blogs.
- Prepare internal policy newsletters.
- Assist with member engagement activities.
